Single & Double Valve Float Shoe
A plunger style valve is used in float equipment for applications where high flow rates, lost circulation materials (LCM) and/or extended flow rates are encountered. The valve has a nitrile coated phenolic plunger for wear resistance and sealing of the valve.
Available in sizes 2-3/8” (63mm) to 40” (1016mm) other features include:
- API III-C rated Valve with 10K and 15K options available upon request
- Easy drill out with conventional PDC or Tri-Cone bits.
- All material casing grades available
- All API and premium connections available
- Up / Down jet side ports
- Single, double valve options
- Multiple Nose Options: Aluminum Concentric or Eccentric Nose, Cement and Spade Nose.
Up Jet & Down Jet Float Shoe
Up Jet and Down Jet Float Shoe re-direct the flow of fluid. This Float Shoe evenly disperses fluid through multiple ports. The up jet and down jet ports effectively distribute the fluid in the annular space both above and below the Float Shoe to help prevent the initiation of channeling. This helps the casing to be easily washed past ledges and tight sections.
